"What exactly are you building?" People keep asking me this. Their confused looks tell me I need to get better at explaining it – both for others and myself. Perfect timing for my first note.
Think of a professional playground for exploration. That's what this publication is becoming. Like a child's desk with their favorite toy taken apart, but it's filled with ideas about _innovation, technology, and human potential_. A space where I can follow my curiosity without corporate constraints, pressure to sugar-coat reality, or need to hold back what I think.
Remember how children explore? They find something interesting and dive deep. They take things apart, ask endless "why" questions, connect random dots, and experiment relentlessly. Eventually, they figure out how to make things better and can't wait to share their discoveries. That's exactly the energy I'm bringing here.
But instead of sharing discoveries with parents and neighborhood friends, I'm sharing them with professionals who want to think differently about innovation and transformation, who want to get inspired by nonconformist thinking and authenticity. People who suspect there might be better ways of doing things – ways that might actually be more sustainable and human-centered in the long run.
Why build this in public? Because I value the raw authenticity that comes with showing your work as it happens. I'm inspired by makers like Colin Furze who show the messy reality of creation. It's also part of my strategy to attract like-minded professionals and build a community.
Next Up: I'm diving into my first research thread – exploring how we can use generative AI to _enhance (not replace)_human capabilities in knowledge work. I've just finished setting up my research and documentation system. Time to put it to the test. More on that in the next note.
Follow me here for regular notes – quick updates on what I'm discovering and building.
