Why Handwriting Makes You Think More Clearly Than Typing
Testing handwriting for drafts this week. I've been doing morning pages by hand for 3 years, but this feels different - more focused, deeper somehow. Thoughts flow through your hand differently than through a keyboard. The intimacy changes how my mind works - not just slower, but deeper and more concentrated.
Yesterday's discovery: drafted two posts in 60 min of handwriting vs struggling to finish one in 90 min of typing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Research confirms the cognitive benefits of handwriting, but experiencing it in practice feels different. And I enjoy it much more. Have you ever tried it?
